Those are the days I dream of.

    Great job Guys!

Why did Will have to go reload the suckers? Short straw, rock-paper-scissors?

Brad and James were taking shots after every fish. Will was sober cab and was actually going to get tequila.

I actually was gearing up to go and will would have none of it. Turns out he wanted first crack at the order of chicken strips we placed with Marathon in Malmo!

Anyone doing shots between each fish on this particular day would have been in a lot of trouble. waytogo

That was a fun episode. Great work, and the reason I like this show so much, the fun comradery while fishing.

I watched the episode, but did you mention the dates you filmed this? I am curious how long ago it was and if the pattern may still be holding up. I want to take my boys out there, we haven’t been in a while and it looks like they would have a blast if we were even half as successful.

I would guess about 4 days before it aired

I believe they taped the Monday before.

Check out the Mille Lacs forum for some reports from last weekend also.

I went to that same area Wed 11/19 and that bite, at that time, was definey not on. I got skunked, missed 2 tipup bites and everyone I talked to that was fishing out there had very little luck. I’d hoped for more on a day with a stable weather pattern.

Beware of the locals/regulars scolding you for fishing their spot.

A friend went out from Garrison this past weekend and they did fairly well. Horseshoe flats. Rainbow Buckshot and VMC Tingler Spoons. It’s a haul so you need 4 wheelers.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that’s nothing new. Comes with the territory.

I NEED to ice fish MN., Maybe I will get safe ice after New Years? I have to drive 2 hours to get to safe ice at present. That hasn’t proven productive for me either excepting that it IS ice fishing!
