I’ll be the first to admit that I never thought we’d be fortunate enough to see a second season of broadcast let alone be talking about completing a tenth season like we did Monday afternoon when we pulled the boat off the water after a fantastic day of fishing on Chequamegon Bay. Mike Anselmo and I spent the day chasing smallmouth on what is one of the better bass fisheries in the Midwest. Right now water temps are in the low-60’s and the fish will eat just about anything thrown their way! We had a good run in the AM on paddletails and jerkbaits and the fish switched over to a Marabou Jig bite midday that produced big fish on almost every cast for a couple hours. We weren’t blessed with any real giants but the number of 3.5 – 4.5 lb fish caught made for a lot of fun and a great way to close out our broadcast season.

To everyone that watches, thanks for tuning in each week! We’ll be back for season #11 in November. Maybe we’ll be fortunate enough to see ANOTHER 10 years spent chasing bites all over the Midwest and Canada!

I can’t wait for next season when I can make my Rocky 4 like comeback! I’ve already started pulling an Otter sled loaded with rocks around the yard while listening to “Eye of the Tiger” grin

Congrats on another great season, IDO crew. I really enjoy the episodes, especially how you take the time to go over what you’re doing and provide tips.

I’ve yet to even come close to replicating the success of James and crew but trying is half the fun!

Btw, perhaps you’ve already mentioned this, but what happened to your IDO hat, James? IDO hat, much nicer than Rapala….just sayin.

Rapala Canada sent those out in preparation for their 80th Anniversary. So I thought it a good idea to give them some love.

Our trademark black IDO hat is back on my head full-time as of yesterday. waytogo

We’ve got more work to do over the summer than I honestly think we can handle. We’ll get to fish, of course, but for the next six months I get to do something that more closely approximates a “real job.”

The growth of the show is quite amazing if one stops to think about it….From the first years of filming a show the season prior, only to air the following winter, to now going out and shooting a show, editing, and airing on FSN/online in really less than a week is something to be very proud of. Fun to watch and be a part of the progression.

Have made a ton of new friends, made a new career, and had some unbelievable fishing excursions because of IDO….Thanks IDO…Looking forward to continued growth!

Congrats James on 10 years. That is a milestone in the age of 1 season hit wonder shows. Your show design is above the rest in education and quality.

I cannot wait for next season.

Best fishing show on TV. Timely real time fishing tips presented in a easy to understand format. Not pushing products 100% of the time like most other shows. Thanks for putting out a show for fisher people not sponsors.

Be very proud IDO, the work you guys do behind the scenes is amazing. 10 years in the business is a fantastic accomplishment to say the least. The show is growing with every season and the camera work and editing is by far in the top 5% in outdoor shows in the country. Thank you for the hard work and passion to the sport have a great off season!
