With my college graduation date approaching here in a little over a month, and most major projects wrapping up why not do a little fishing. I guess if you wanna call 5 days straight a little that is ok. In the central part of the state our lakes are ice free and the fish are hungry. We have been targeting creek inlets and shallow flats with small swimbaits, moxies, as well as smaller cranks. The pike have been a constant visitor as well as the eyes once the sun starts falling in the sky. Water temps are in the low 40s and fishing is good. Hope you all have a chance to get out and get after some fish soon. – Quintin

Fish frys on the deck in this summer like weather have been especially enjoyable.

And you will be able to work 10 or 12 hour shifts and have lots of time open for more fishing! Congrat’s on the degree!! I am sure it was a lot of work.
