Screen protectors for larger screen fish finders

Anyone running a screen protector of any kind for the larger screen fish finders, say 6”+? Recently picked up a Garmin 73cv ice bundle and even though it’s in the bag, the bag is thin so to protect it from a heater, auger, spud etc catching just the right spot in travel I grabbed one of the snap on Garmin screen covers but I’m considering a tempered glass screen protector, like most of us have on our phones, as well. Especially since it’s touch screen.

There doesn’t appear to be many options out there but there are a few. Curious if anyone has tried any of these and how they work?

Don’t get anti glare, clear is the way to go.

I got the Garmin GPSMAP 12″ TOUCH Tempered Glass Screen Protector from Russell Marine after a pretty extensive review of good screen protectors.

X2, I put anti glare on a pair of helixes and it makes everything blurry, hard to read depth numbers.

I bought a two pack of iPad screen protectors on Amazon for a few bucks and cut one down to install on my 73SV. Works great and clear is the way to go for sure.

I agree. Love it on my Helix 10.
