What color or formula of lok-tite should one use on these. The three guns in question are all black powder and are kickers, big time. I want to be certain that repeated recoil isn’t going to loosen these screws. Any ideas here?

Agree with DT. have always used blue. I also put a drop on the underside of the head of each screw where it seats.

I have used blue on hunting handguns for years and never had a scope loosen, which for these handguns is saying something as these are notorious for bucking scopes off.

Blue is lock nut grade, red is high strength, requires heat to remove, and green is sleeve and bearing mount.

Blue is what you want, just be sure to degrease the screws first.
