Press Release: Team Jeremy Schreiner and Matt Steffen Dominate with 19.23# four-fish limit of Pool 6 walleyes netting them $1140.00! This is duos second WIN this season and positions them well in points. The team fished a few key wingdams with lindy rigging Willocats on Pool 6 just north of the city of Trempealeau. Jeremy stated, “We really struggled during prefishing- we caught a couple decent keepers off one wingdam so we justed rolled with it… I guessed it was a precursor of what really lived there!”
Team Troy Patterson and Tony Hentges took second with 12.87#s ($410). They targeted key dams in Pool 6 and 7 as well and had one nice kicker female to send them into second with a nice payday.
MMWS team Nathan Leverance and Chris Kawleski took third with 7.74#s. ($250) They opted to grind out their fish which earned them valuable year end points.
