    Helix 12gen1 linked to a helix 12gen2.
Going through waypoint list the other day and realized that I have several waypoint #s that repeat. 2-200 2-231 2-231 ect. Its not every waypoint and it’s not consecutive numbers. Not a big deal cause it is still saving them just curious?

Red Eye if the units are linked together, you are sharing waypoints from one unit and have the waypoints imported to both units that most likely is the issue.

Personally I have my units linked and only put waypoints on one of them. Then when they are shared the unit that does not have them installed will see all waypoints as the one that does. The one drawback to this is you need to remember to only save waypoints on the unit that is doing the sharing. If you don’t it will only show up on the unit that is not sharing.

My helix does this and it has never been linked.

Nope. At least some of the double waypoints are from last year or before that even. I didn’t link the 2 birds until this spring.

I think if you remove the card in which the waypoints are stored, but continue to make waypoints. You’ll get duplicate numbers.

    Either way. No biggie.
When you are viewing your waypoints are they physical different locations (i.e. GPS locations different from each other?)

I wipe my waypoints a dozen times each year so kinda don’t pay much attention to them anymore as long term storage serves no purpose for me.
