Same Deer??

So my mind has been ablaze since checking my cameras yesterday. At first I was sure, but now not as much that the deer I got on camera was one I had been getting pictures of 2 and 3 years ago that made a disapearing act last year. I know two of the bigger gossip hounds in the area so if the deer was shot two years ago I would have heard about it, my guess was a car hit or something, but these new pictures have me thinking this could be him. So what are your guys thoughts, same deer?
The first picture are some of the only ones from 2012 and one of the only daylight pictures I have of this deer. Assuming its the same one, he has always been very nocturnal.
The second and third pictures are from 2013 one in velvet and one not in velvet (on the same day and same location as the daylight shot in 2012 (camea is just actually in the apple tree instead of looking at it).
The last 2 pictures were from 2 weeks ago, again at that same apple tree (I always have a camera here as its a great place to take inventory).

I see some similarities, but then some differences. I’m sure the 2012 and 13 pictures are the same deer, just not sure if this new one is him +2 years. The width was what made me think so at first, fairly uncommon to get them this wide in our area, they seem to peak out at 17-18″ wide, at least the ones that make it to 3+ years old. If he is the same deer this is definately the oldest deer I’ve ever gotten pictures of, my guess is 6 years old if he’s the same. Either way I’d love to be in the tree when this guy slips up this fall.

pictures pulled up in the opposite numbers as I called them out as.

Date is off on the 2012 picture too, it was November 11. Screen on the old Moultrie went out so I can’t change settings anymore.

My guess is that these two pics are the same buck. The only doubt I have is the difference in the tine on the left beam missing / injured??? If its not the same, I am confident they have the same daddy.

This far apart could easily be father/son also.

Great deer, I hope you see him in the daylight.

I vote for same deer. It seems as if the brows on all the pics are tilted towards his left . Hope you get a chance at him. Looks like if he would survive the season he might have double drop tine next year. If zoom in on the bottom of his main beams… looks like they are starting to drop.

    Pretty sweet!!!
