Chucker and I decided to head over to Milwaukee and see if we couldn’t boat a trout or two. Had some boat issues, but the weather was prefect. We did manage to find a couple fish. The bite was slow and we didn’t see or hear of to many fish being boated.

It was perfectly calm last night a a skim of ice formed. It made fishing a little challenging.

This weekend meant a lot to my brother as he’s been having a hard time with life in general and getting away from all that was valuable to his sanity. Catching a 29″ 10.5# Brown Trout didn’t hurt either. Chucker was able to harvest a nice eater Steelhead. Overall a great weekend for all.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the trip. I really appreciated the first pic. That brought back many memories of being on the lake out of Racine. I know Milemark_714 will like that one also.

Great pix!!! The great thing about fishing is the fishing!!! The catching can make it better, but the fishing is the base.
