Good luck! You guys are in for a blast. I’m gonna have to book one of these trips soon myself.

I just put two sets of dates in the books with Eric today.

Late March lakers. I’m out of my head excited about this trip!

Mid-April walleyes on Green Bay. Occasionally he catches a big fish or two…

Enjoy your trip. All it takes is one big Lake Michigan monster and you’re hooked for life.

Should be a good time. All my gear is packed. Off to a meeting (darn work) and then out the door to MI!

Fingers crossed that you’ll have good water clarity and light winds.

The weather was decent, mid 20’s with little wind (from the East) on Saturday. Sunday the winds were a little higher, but from the West. The winds had the harbor water stirred up a little bit.

The bite was slow, but some people still managed to catch a fish. I’d say maybe 10 fish caught between Saturday and Sunday. All Mark and I could manage was one Brown. We did have a couple other bites, but the fish spit the hook before we could set it.

Thank goodness for auger gas. Walking was a less than desirable option.

Good to see you guys landed one. I had four misses on Satuday and lost a nice Steelhead on Sunday after a long fight. Trying to head back in Feb and have a trip booked with Eric in late March, maybe cross paths with James out there.

Ruger, you got my bad side, thanks alot man!
I thought I had enough fuel, came up about 3 miles shy, so 2 tanks plus 1 gallon get you from Roch to milwaukee, drive round’ a bit and home. I will have to make that trip again and try some more of the waters of the area. -Mark

I just got back to this post. Glad to see you guys had a great time down here. I got two football browns (length=girth) about where the camera man was standing
