Flies That Work

Len, how do you get those great close up pictures of your flies? Every time I try to do that it doesn’t work out very well. Great looking flies!

Should have a Macro button on the camera. My Sony cameras have it and it has a logo on the button that looks like a flower. Allows you to take closeup photos.

outdoor light works best.

the tulip button is macro setting

I put the camera on a table and adjust the scene to the camera. Not any closer than 10 inches. I have a tripod but seldom use it.
