With the recent rains, the run has begun. If you have interest on fishing salmon or trout on a flyrod, the WI tributaries are the places to go.
First-timers – streamers in white, black, purple, or orange are usually go-to colors. concentrate on the faster “current” side of the river and look for beds to be in areas of gravel and some sand. Rapids that break the river into mini pools are a good thing to pay close attention to.
Aviod bright color of clothing. Fish can see you from a mile away. Very good polorizing glasses are a great investment to have.
