Door County

    Heading to Door County and I’d like suggestions on campgrounds that have marinas or boat launch facilities handy.(in a good fishing area would be nice)
    Also…. what would be suggestions as to the better time of year for fishing?

    What time of year and where in DC are you thinking about going?
    The Sturgeon Bay area is south DC and Northpoint is at the top.
    There are some excellent campgrounds in both areas.
    There are also some outstanding opportunities for excellent catches in either walleyes or smallmouth.

    just got back from sturgeon bay this past weekend and the smallmouth fishing was awesome. tournament winners had over 32 lbs. for six fish and big fish being 6.8 lbs. there are a few cottages close to the bay so maybe give one of them a try.

    Door County is a big area, if you narrow it down some, you may get more responses.
