Big Brown Trout

    I got out alone today for trout and it was slow but went 2-2 for browns with one being my personal best. A big 20+ lb. buck brown trout. It took a good 7-10 minute battle on the ice rod and multiple attempts to get him up the 8″ hole. Lets just say my shirt sleeve was drenched by the time I got him up the hole. I caught a brown a couple years back open water that was pushing 20 lbs. but this was for sure bigger. It made the 15 lb. fish I got a few weeks back look like nothing. I have been wanting a brown over 20 lbs. so I am pretty pumped.

    Beautiful fish!! The lack of background cover really makes the fish stand out!

    should be checking for FGH’s (fish growth hormones)
    and i thought the 18″ brown from the local creek i caught was nice. Great fish, and beautiful colored fish.

    WOW! That thing is huge. I wouldn’t make it home before talking to a reproduction artist.

    Also, I have no idea how you got that pig into a 8″ hole. It had to be fun though.

    wow thats a tank congrats

    i got one few years back open water just under 21 cant decide if i like the fresh outa the lake colors or the colors of yours better nice catch what a beaut
