Not a trout but……

    Hey I know this is not a trout but I caught it in a trout stream and was hoping for an ID.

    Sort of looks like a golden shiner, or river chub…

    Looks like a chub. Next time pinch the tail off that and use it for bait. Brookies love chub tails!

    It’s a Shiner not a chub.
