I did some open water fishing in Florida the week before and was itching to do some casting when I returned to Colorado. So on Saturday March 8th, we decided to hit a section of the South Platte River. The day before it dumped snow so it made the drive slow but the scenery was beautiful. Pretty slow day fishing overall, we saw some nice fish, got one 18″ Rainbow to the net, and another that came unbuttoned.

Short 2 minute video of our action HERE

Looks like a great time, even if the net never came out.

I brought one 18″ Bow to the net…thankfully. All our bites and action was in the first 45 minutes and then slow going after that.
