Kickapoo School had their K thru 12 annual conservation days yesterday. There were lots of presenters there. Warden Stringham from Vernon County attended. There were professionals there from water and soil. Other presenters were snake specialists and bird experts to name a couple. There were 12 stations. I had one of those stations.

Trout angling was my area of expertise. We covered all types of trout angling. Responsible harvest and selective harvest were touched on.

There was hands on knot tying and a pop quiz at the end to see if they were paying attention to my presentation. The first to answer correctly, I gave a panther martin spinner to. I gave 10 presentations and 10 panther martins were awarded.

This puts me over 15,000 children I have spoken to in the last 3 years.

    I do it for FREE.

My reward is like minded young anglers taking to the streams.
