Trout stamp?

    I was looking the other week and saw the season went tell 4/1 but on the stamp it says it expires 2/28 unless noted elsewhere. I looked to see if it’s elsewhere in the reg book. Just wondering if i missed it or if it is expired and i need to pick up another

    If you think that’s impressive, look at your fishing license. On the same side it says 2/28/13 AND 4/30/13.

    That’s why I’m asking. I haven’t figured out why they can’t just pick a date and make life easier on both ends

    It is always the later date. I asked about it at a bait shop a few years back and the guy said the DNR told him it was a software issue. They can’t remove the earlier date for some odd reason.

    I was told it was because the trapping season ends 2/28.

    I wouldn’t chance it. Might as well get it now. If a CO isn’t aware, he could give you a ticket.
