My first Trout through the ice

    I never thought I could catch one through the ice. and they are so dang tricky!! I think they play with the bait, bump it with their noses or something but it was AWESOME! photos do these fish no justice. rainbow trout are beautiful!

    the huge panfish report was the inspiration of the last minute trip. But ended up doing this instead. Jeremy caught 4 on Sunday while I just tried to figure them out. Then at the bottom of the ninth I finally figured them out!

    They are so squirmy. Thanks all!

    Maybe 16″-18″??
    Definitely gave me a fight that will hold me over for a few more days.
