    Its a linear record…weight is not recognized, just inches…with a 24″ girth, its a 30 lber

    Sebile just established a new largemouth Bass linear record of 23.8″… I (and I’m sure others here) have caught a couple 24″ bass in our lives…
    I guess its the easiest way to establish C/R records

    It is a fish that could easily go 42 plus all day long no question about it.

    An absolute hog to say the least. Bruce is a heck of a fisherman in the Duluth area. By far the best angler i have ever seen as far as trout go. Whats that saying? “he has forgot more than i will ever know”, yeah that could apply here lol.

    I caught one in June a few years back that was 43″ in length, that fish was 33# but was stuffed with smelt and had an 18 sucker in its mouth / stomach along with my rapala. So a 46″ laker would be in that range. Thru the ice OMG
