I haven’t posted any reports this year, mainly because fishing has been so great. With warm days and cold nights, conditions on the streams and rivers have been ideal. Who could stare at a computer when the trout are biting?
With over 300 trout caught and released since January, the 2012 season may be my best on record. Though the numbers have been very good, I have not caught any over 19”, but most have been over 11”, fat and beautifully colored.
The big surprise this year has been the “Glow in the Dark Blue Super Bow Spinner”, I made this color for night and low light conditions, but for some reason, this year this color is tearing up trout all day long.
See you on the stream, Gotta Fish!
I will be doing a presentation on Trout fishing in Preston at the “ National TROUT CENTER” on Saturday at 10:00.
It’s Free so come on down, we will have a van load of spinners as well.
