Can anyone out there point a guy in the right direction for catching splake in October alone the south shore of Lake Superior? Any feedback on locations and tactics would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I would check the season dates for the state you want to fish in….

Splake are open all year on superior. I would fish the river mouths in chequamegon bay. Such as the onion and pikes creek. Casting spoons and/or floating spawn or crawlers off the bottom.
