I met up with my brother and nephew last Saturday for a little trout fishing. We hit a few streams SE of Rochester. The fish were super spooky and tough to approach, and they were very careful about what they would hit. I ended up using 8X tippet and nothing bigger than a #18 fly to catch a few. They sure are pretty though!
