Does anyone here cure salmon roe for eating? I’m hoping to get some salmon in the next few days and would rather not waste any of the roe considering how incredibly nutritious it is. It is a good with some of the highest concentrations of omega 3s.

Is it possible to freeze it?

I have cured and cold smoked roe for eating. It really doesn’t freeze well in my experience. The eggs pop as they freeze and become a mess when thawed. Still ok on the morning barnyard eggs though.
