This sailboat is still at Hok-si-la boat ramp since yesterday. The DNR folks said a guy with a ROW (not tow) boat was trying to pull it out of the launch and there it still sits. No motor even , just a hole where it should be.

…… and we got to see a guy with a roller trailer drop his boat on the launch and scream the F word! I would got a pic of that too but I was giggling and he wasn’t really looking like he was up for a picture.

Very slow day and lots of floating trees and debris. One nice eye and lots of small sauger. Lake city launch (lakeshore drive) was open and guys using it but too sketchy for me. Water into the parking lot from what I saw.

I think it’ll be a while before I try again. Just not good fishing lately.

Heee Heeee. Not a sail boat fan either. One less to worry about. Did you leave your left over bait on board?

I was surprised of the number of boats fishing in front of Lake City on Sunday. Two boats up at the dam but I spose with the flow at 92k cfs it’s much easier to fish the lake.

High water or not, that broad water right in front of Roschen Park, along the breakwater and pier and along trailer point is very good fishing area at this time of year and the current will be a whole lot more relaxed in these areas. Right now I wouldn’t spend a nickle’s worth of time fishing on anything considered river.
