    Any property insurers out there?

    I am running budget numbers on 40 acres with a brand new house. House will be about 2500 sf with 4-5 bedrooms. Property is a mix of woods and pasture. The plan is to run some livestock on it. Could anyone give me a ballpark number on property insurance for the year? Just looking for soft numbers to check budget!

    No such thing as a soft rate in today’s world… Rates are largely influenced by credit score and claims, among several other things.

    Like Joel touched on already, there are hundreds of factors that go into determining a home insurance rate so it’s quite difficult to provide a ballpark number.

    Best thing you can do is get in touch with an independent agent and have him run you some preliminary quotes.
