Rum River – Open Seat

    A few days ago, Dbright advertised an open seat for the Rum River in his jet boat. I took him up on the offer and we went out tonight between Anoka and St. Francis. Beautiful night and a great stretch of river. I’m glad he knew the waters and where the boulders were hidden!

    He definitely out-fished me although I caught more trees than he did. We each got a nice fish – mine a 17 incher and he landed a nice fat 19 inch bronze back. Thanks again, I really enjoyed it ! -Fry

    We will have to get again. The bite was slower then I was expecting but still a good night on the water.

    I think I bring some of your magic buzz baits, and a cortisone shot in my hook-setting wrist next time, and I might catch up to you ;)
