Are you asking about the Roy Lake north of Gull Lake?

Yes, I am talking about the lake just outside of Sisseton, SD. Have any of you fished that lake?

Fished Roy and Clear last weekend. Windy. Windy. Windy. Smallies and the occasional walleye on Dt-10’s and 14’s. Tough fishing, but decent. Rock pile edges were the best.

Yes. We stayed at the resort in the state park there several times. Terrific lake. Lots of rock piles and structure.

I didn’t know how to dropshot at the time, but I think that would be a killer tactic on that lake. Also wacky worms. We had good luck on jig/pig with crawdad colors and got some bigger fish on cranks as well.

If out there, also try Enemy Swim.

There this weekend. If I can talk my father in law out of walleye fishing, I’ll be targeting the smallies. Water temps have come down, we’ll see…

Frydog62, how did it go? I was driving to Mitchell for a wedding on Saturday. Drove by the Sisseton exit. It was partly cloudy, fairly warm, and super windy. I wanted to be fishing. Hope you drilled them.
