Isn’t it time for the annual contract extension talk?

How in the blank did they blow a 21 point lead in the 4th quarter!??

I think the boat has a hole in it. Have to wonder how you lose with a 21 point lead starting the 4th quarter to one of the worst teams I think in the BIG.

The gophers are team that doesn’t play to win. They have a kicker with a big leg and don’t try the 55 yarder on their first drive. Then towards the end of the half or quarter they take a knee rather than trying one pass and if successful, a long field goal. Their passing game sucks.

Typical Mn team.. if your dominating, take your foot off the gas and play to their level in “prevent” D… 3 runs, eat the clock, punt.. let them score… repeat 3 times and your tied. Loved the punt from the 39, downed in the end zone for net 14 yards.

That was the most embarrassing thing from that game.

The Gophers bounced back from a 2 game losing streak to beat Louisiana 35-24 at home today, moving their overall record to 3-2.

The next 2 games will be very difficult. They host Michigan and then visit Iowa.

Within one win of a bowl game! The AD better break out the checkbook before some major D2 school poaches him.

The Gophers will knock off Iowa. Iowa is in a dog fight with a terrible Michigan State team that fired its coach midseason. The previous week I’m not sure Iowa had 100 total yards against Penn State.

Let’s not make this one sound like a heroic feat if PJ and company pull it off. Iowa won’t be heavy favorites.

The West is so bad I’m not sure they will televise the Big 10 Championship Game

Iowa is bad with their starting QB.

Now their QB went down with a non contact knee injury. The Gophers might be favored at Iowa

Don’t they still need 6 wins for a bowl game? Gophs have 3, are going to lose by 80 this weekend against Michigan, might have a punchers chance at Iowa, and should beat home games vs Michigan State, and Illinois. Purdue and Wisconsin they will be big underdogs, and Ohio State should win by 80. So basically need to win all 3 against Iowa, MSU, and IL or at least 2 outta 3 and steal one from Purdue or Wisconsin.

No there are so many bowl games you only need 5 to get in. It’s a national game against Michigan so you are right, Harbaugh may lay 80 on ol PJ.

I think you generally need to be .500 or better to qualify for a bowl but I can recall a couple times over the years when they didn’t have enough teams so they selected a team under .500 to participate.

It’s going to be ugly on Saturday night. It’s a nationally televised game on NBC.

    Who has the better chance.

    Smoke n Mirrors beating Michigan?

Twins beating Verlander in Houston in game 1?

    Vikings beating the Chiefs?

since there is nothing else to watch tonight i decided to check in on the maroon and gold for the first time since the Abdul kaliq guy was slinging it. ironically i said i would never watch another game since they blew that gigantic lead against coincidentally……Michigan.
i see i haven’t missed much. have they ever beaten a top 10 ranked team since the Mason era or is it the typical disappointment?

Oh theres plenty of chance the Vikings win. Would I bet on it? No but then I no longer bet on games. KC has plenty of flaws on the defensive side. The Vikings have to play mistake free and score on 75% of their drives, but if the defense can turn the ball over twice they have a chance.

I agree the Vikings have a much better chance to beat KC than the Gophers do to beat Michigan. For starters, the spread was favoring KC by 5 and Michigan was favored by 20.
