Round or Rectangle Pop Up Shack

Okay so I have been contemplating the idea of going away from my Clam Command Post pop up to one of the Eskimo XD pop ups and I can not decide if the circle is better than the rectangle. I can easily fish three people out of the Command Post I think it is 75 sq ft same as the 450 XD from Eskimo. I like the full length doors of the XD but not sure on the circle vs the rectangle.

I am thinking that the circle would be better to set up because you would not have to worry about wind direction so much and I think that it would break the wind a bit better since you real “flat” sides.

The command post is not thermal either but that has not been as issue in the past.

Wondering if anyone has any experience or insight on this.

I went from a square to the Eskimo 6 sided. Mine is the early version, without the full length door, which is a hassle, wish I had the full length. But as far as use, I really like the 6 sided better. You are correct about the wind, just use a door down wind, but if there is a wind change, no worries. When we fish 3 people, it is easier also to get holes drilled and have room to move around the center. Other than getting the thermal and full length door, I would not go back.
