Rossi lever action 410

    I been looking at getting one of these. I like the “western”
    lever action look and the shell capacity.
    Anybody own one ? Or have a review ?

    I don’t know anything about that particular gun, but would make sure that it has a safety other than putting the hammer on half cock.

    My Rio Grande SS 30-30 has the interceptor safety bar so I’m pretty sure the 410 has it as well.

    I can’t say anything about that caliber but my 30-30 has a smooth action feed and fits me as well as any other lever action I’ve ever used. As for accuracy, I’ve only shot Hornady Leverevolution 160gr rounds through it and the grouping is only marginal. At close range, the animal is going down just the same but I don’t have a great confidence beyond 100yds. With a .410, you’re not looking at long shots anyway so……. maybe it’s all good?
