Experiencing rolling thunder in Woodbury. It has thundered continuously without a break for at least 15 minutes now. Fairly rare event and very cool.

Sirens went of in River Falls because of low hanging clouds.

Lakeland has a temporary river running through it.

My lightning’s flashing across the sky. You’re only young but you’re gonna die.

There must be 3-4 funnel clouds in there. I know, because the clouds are rotating.

Ralphie beat me to it! I read the title and started singing. peace It doesn’t look like it rained too much but it sure feels tropical and stuffy out there. Yuck.

We got plenty of rain around Cambridge and some small hail. Lost one tree but luckily missed everything important.

Pug, the clouds were moving West to East. Left me scratching my head but Lakeland did get a little hail out of these clouds. I guess I would rather complain about sirens going off when there isn’t any danger then complaining when they didn’t go off and the town was leveled.

We picked up close to 3″ in Lakeland…of rain we didn’t need.

Photos are of the River Falls area.

I’ve heard so many people say “the clouds were rotating” or that’s a wall cloud, when it clearly is gust front or shelf cloud that it has become a pet peeve of mine.

Maybe time to reevaluate my pet peeves and let them go.
