    Hey guys,

I was about to buy a 2018 St.Croix Legend Tournament Walleye spinning rod. 6’3″ ML extra fast. However, this year that model has a solid cork handle. I really like the feel of the 2017 model with the split cork handle. How on earth can I find one from last year? If you know where, or someone that wants to part with it let me know. Or perhaps shoot me a tip on a similar jigging rod.

    Thanks

Hey Kevin where are you located? Our local Sportshop may have one. I’m just the opposite. All of my Legends are full cork. I was happy when they brought them back this year.

River Falls WI. RF is very near the MN border. I’ll travel if someone has a couple of them. I like the whole cork also, but the split cork is lighter. We get into some light bite jigging situations on Lac Seul every summer. Every ounce missing from my setup is better. Thanks!!

I’ll check and see if they have any left. You are a little over 200 mi from here. Where do you stay on Lac Seul? I went twice and stayed at Lost Island on the south end. Very nice place and great people.

Please do. For that distance, I’ll look into shipping them here. We stay at Williams Lake Lodge, on Williams Lake. I’ve been there 4 times. Always good. We take the river channel out to Williams Bay, and fish north from there. Thanks.
