Looking for rod tip lights for catfishing at night. Something thatll let me know which of my 2 cat reels is clicking. Something thatll fit a st croix heavy power premier rod and a st croix medium heavy pro glass rod.

    Thanks in advance for replies.

I electrical taped a small led flashlight to the rod just above the cork. Worked great. Plus you won’t fling it off when you cast like a tip mounted glow stick.

    “finger lights”
And a small zip tie to attach.
50 for $5 if you do some looking

Caution using them from a boat. Depending on color it can confuse some boaters.

I bought some reflective tape and attached to my rod tip that illuminates easily with a head lamp. Sometime I prop up a small light that points toward my rod tip rather than having my head lamp on all the time.

X2 on reflective tape and a small light pointing in the direction of the rods. It’s amazing how well you can see the tiny bit of light on the rod tip with the tape.

    Has anyone used luminous tape?
