The saga continues… now it’s a $500 boat repair. At least Joe should have me back on the water by the weekend (as long as I can come up with the bail money). My rebuilt vehicle should be back next week then you guys better watch out or move over because I’ll be coming after those walleyes. …or maybe I should take up shore fishing, I can walk and leave the SUV and boat at home!?!

the waters low but still very navigable just stay in the channel. most spots still get to 10-11 feet deep. oh yeah the bypass launch is closed during the week as they are working on the new bridge.

Thanks for the heads up on the launch. Was thinking about getting out tomorrow. Anybody else? I assume the bar is still open?

Hope you luck gets better Greg.

It was an expensive oil sensor, bilge pump, wiring problem, etc. I was hoping to wait until I winterized the boat but the dang sensor is stuck on and I couldn’t take the squealing anymore. Part of that $500 is new speakers so I can listen to the games while snagging fish this fall. I have a rare chance to fish with my dad Sunday afternoon if I can get the boat by the weekend.

So that was the noise. Hope it is ready to go for the weekend. Looking at Sunday afternoon as well. Netman, thanks for the update.

I meant to post yesterday. I was able to put in at the bypass launch with the crane in place but it is not convenient as there is a one lane path to the pier (still in at the time) and only the east side of the parking lot. They may be trying to keep it serviceable.

I was trying out a new stainless prop and went out to the lake to troll for an hour. I was having trouble landing the walleyes as they were coming unbuttoned due to the boards jerking as I cranked them in. Lost 4 that way. White bass stayed buttoned. It got rough out there by 3:pm.
