fished again this afternoon. same old same old lots of shorts and no legals or big fish. only saw 1 legal in a basket. well i guess i just keep plugging away for the next couple of weeks. probably fish a ton over the second part of spring break.
Heading out today around 3, going to mix it up a little to find those keepers which we all know lots are around, just trying to get them on the hook,,hmmm. 
Launched the 12 ftr. at KMart about 2 pm with my son. Hit 5 areas tween the 106 bridge, and just past Robert Street bridge, but nada. With no action, out of snacks, and cold wind beating us up, we both cried uncle after 3.5 hours, and went home.
Went through 3 dz fatheads from 3 to 6 two keepers this time 
had another great day on the water. Saw lots of fish caught but mostly all small fish. better days ahead.

I heard that Kosh had ice lock. Couldnt launch in Newville and drive across the lake. Didnt believe it. Saw ice burgs in downtown JvL today. Hope it clears up soon, picking up boat this week. Want to avoid the cluster at hy 26. Ice out? 
when we were up there on saturday it looked clear all the way across. i dont think you will have any problems going all the way across.
