Not me…still licking my wounds from a poor performance thursday. If I do, will be to track you with a gps, and take notes. Actually, have family visiting from California, so may take the bro-in-law out on the Big Pond sometime this week. So good luck, and warm them eyes up for me, cuz after next week, it’s back to river-ratting thru November, between the Rock, Wisconsin, and Ole Miss.

I was out from 8 until noon today. Picked up 4 shorties up river from the bypass launch then moved to the mouth and for the last hour and immediately picked up a 18.5″ walleye on my last crawler. I probably could have had more fish today but I sent my dad for crawlers and he came back with small red worms which didn’t get a bite. I did get a couple nice white bass on a Gulp leech though and called it quits. White bass were biting like crazy for those targeting them near the mouth. Had to dodge duck shot up river, lots of BB showers hitting the trees just overhead. Keeper was caught on a 1/4 oz. red/black Knuckleball with half a crawler. I did bring a dozen of my own but they went fast, lots of hit and misses and I did lose another nice walleye about halfway back to the boat. Got a couple sheep too.
