We went fishing in the rain after work for a few hours and did real well with G&S stinkbait. No huge ones but nice eating channel cats just down from the boat launch. We fished 5 or 6 spots in about 4hours, and most of the fish came in the deepest parts of the river with heavy current. It was a lot of work rebaiting the nasty stink bait all the time because they would hit almost instantly, but well worth it. We missed something big on a size 20 hook with a minnow under a bobber so I went to a bigger hook but it was too late. This fish was cruising the shoreline looking for food on the east side.
