After playing tag yesterday on Koskonong for walleyes, I decided today was a lazy fishing day. So a dozen nightcrawlers and some cold beverages and off I went catfishing. Put boat in at Happy Hollow Park (wouldnt suggest that landing) and buzzed up river to a few spots I have below Monterey Dam. Not huge on sizes, but very consistent bites and boy howdy they are fun catching on medium light tackle. Lost a few to snags as well. Pictured is largest of day but most in same size range – all back swimming. No one really eats fish out of Rock River anyway do they? Water is really high and there is a lot of crap floating so watch out!
