Centerway Dam

    How is fishing by centerway dam in the upcoming weeks? I’m pretty new to fishing the Rock and I live pretty close to it so any (especially wallye) fishing at this dam would be really apreetiated.

    Water is very high right now. This is a great place to not fish during the weekends, too many yahoos! Try downriver from dam at the boat launch on Afton Rd. Light jigs and 3 ways work best by dam, water is shallow and fast so find the slack areas and you will find fish and lots of them!

    I agree about to many yahoo’s at the dams. I usually try to get away from them as much as possible. Haven’t been home for a while…how high is the Rock?? Plan on taking the boat out later this month if the water isn’t too high.

    Later this month should be fine, depending on where you are putting in at. I live on the rock south of Janesville and the water has fluctuated more this year than I have seen in a long time.
