Saturday was the 1st Annual American Legion Post 166 fishing Tournament. This tourney was a multi-species with six categories for the shore anglers and boat angler and next year will be a kids categories. The after weigh in events for prizes, raffles and the great meal was awesome. For the first tourney it was well ran. Thank you staff for a job well done-thank you Staff. Team Fin-tech Patrick & Pfeifer picked the walleye category and weighed in a limit of five fish at 13 pounds and had big fish that weighed 5 pounds to take 1st place. Patrick said they targeted the river and fished 10 foot of water with clam beds using jigs and live bait.
The Legion decided to have the tourney next year with a few changes for the better so watch for the details.
