There will be a fundraiser held at the Anchor Inn on Saturday May 24, with proceeds going to support Vets with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The event will include a silent auction, entertainment, and of course, food and libations. I’ve asked the sponsoring organization to add the official poster with the details, to this thread.
Knowing many of you River Rats are supportive of our men and women in uniform, and that some of you yourselves are Vets, as am I, and that you will likely be on the river that day anyway, please give some thought to participating in the event in some manner. While I will not be able to be there on May 24,(fishing in Canada),I’ll be among a number of guys who will be hosting Vets on a fishing trip on Waubesa Lake on June 8. There’s also a September date planned for Minnesota.
