Monday’s bite on Koshkonong

    Trolling bite remains good on the west end of Koshkonong from where the lake opens up back west to the hwy 59 bridge. Best baits are J-5 jointed firetiger and shad pattern ShadRaps and CD-5 Wally Divers in similar colors. Dropping these baits back 78-80 ft. and trolling at 2.4-2.7 mph put the lures right in the walleye’s face over a nearly uniform 9 ft. of water. No big guys today. Nice mess of eaters

    How bout that Bigmouth Buffalo that was caught a while back. Nice eh?

    Understand the buffalo “ate” a Rapala. Always thought these critters were partial to bugs. Not saying the catch wasn’t street legal. I firmly believe fishermen are not born liars…we just learn quick.
