Well, if the ice jams and other debri gives way, the Rock will be at no shortage of water. Up here by your head-water for the rock, every field looks like a lake or raging river to somewhere??? Noticed a lot of high snow banks and debris preventing fields from draining into the river yet. But when it does, holy crap you have a lot of water coming your way. Worse I’ve seen it in MANY years.

Not gonna be good if it all lets loose at once by the sounds of it.

Randy: I have a fairly large arsenal of blades myself, Zonars from Cptn Hooks, Sonars, Zips. Problem is not many people use them, and when clueless people see a guy working a blade they 9 out of 10 times think your snagging fish and accuse you of it. I used to use a blade down at Indianford exclusivly, but I got sick of being labeled a snagger every time I was fishing. Of couse no one ever mentioned the 10 that I would catch, only the 2 or 3 that I would snag. I still love em. The 3 biggest walleyes Ive ever seen caught were all on blades on the Might M. All on Black Blades with a white eye to be exact. I have a 31″ 12.2 on the wall from Alma that I caught on a 1/2 oz Black Zonar, and I watched an old timer on the Great Alma Fishing Float, on March 29th 2005 catch a 14.7 pounder on a 3/4oz Black Zonar, no b/s I was back the next year on the exact same day in 2006 “March 29th” and watched the same old timer “Tommy” catch another one 14.4 lbs on another Black Zonar, exactly 1 year to the date. Let’s just say that from that point forward I was a BIG beliver in blades!!!

People can think what they want. My clients and myself catch a heck of a lot of eyes and suager on them.
