Hope to get out Sunday around 10:30 until 4:30, be launching at the boat club. Most launches water to low to launch but at the boat club no problems, money well spent.

Well, with decent temps and soft water yesterday, couldn’t resist the urge to get out one more time to see if the eyes might be more cooperative than they were in October and November. But other than one 17 incher, and a 14 incher, it was no dice, except for the bazillion white bass. So, with the prospect of this being the last open water outing on the Rock, we gave up on the eyes, and played with the white bass, boating over 100 in about 3 hrs, all on plastic, with my buddy taking home a livewell full for a few fish fries.
But here’s a pic of a 22 incher I got in October, to keep us coming back with better things to come.

Hey boys, just checking in, looks like Jeff shot a nice buck, congrats!!! I shot a few myself, shot the #7 buck on our hit list with my bow on the last day of my 9 day vacation, only 14 1/8″ inside, but 10″ G2s, we named him comet earlier in the year. I’ve shot quite a few does as well, don’t really wanna say how many and be labled a game hog.. lol.. my bill at rivers edge the first time was a little over 3 bills, and last week a little over 2 bills, should have enough venny for a while. How’s the fishing been?? My mind is startin to wander over to the walleye side of the world.. yikes!!!

1st Pic, Comet ALIVE!!! 2nd pic, COMET DEAD!!! Not the bigeest one Ive ever shot, well, not even in the top 10 to be truthfull, but I was happy with him..

Jeff, I ordered $175 worh of Knuckleballs.. he he… MErry Christmas to me..

    Happy Holidays everyone!!!

Nauga, congrats, thats a nice buck. saw your post on LL, i think a canoe will be a bit big for the water levels on kosh, im thinking water wings is all we will need, may find a new use for my bow, wading in whats left of the lake shooting carp

I was out on the lake in my canoe mapping some underwater structure that is above water. At times I was hitting the bottom with my paddle just off Blackhawk Island. Waders would have sufficed.

    Sad,

At least the carp will survive.
