River bite shuts down and lake bite takes over. The last few weeks I have had the river and lake to myself. There are fish to be caught if you can figure out the pattern. Good luck –

Will using an etch a sketch help me with a pattern?

Glad to hear fish are still catchable and someone is still fishing with this crazy summer.

All these walleyes were released for seed and to be caught another day Rock River walleyes really? Yes Eric these are Rock River walleyes – no need to go to the WI or Miss to catch big walleyes. who said bola can’t catch fish.

Jeff you made me a believer, 1/8 knuckleball jig by Fin-Tech was the ticket.

Nice going, guys. Just goes to show that if you put your time in, they will come. Good to see the fishery is alive and well, even during these dog-days of summer.

Walleye fishing has been tough so you need to adapt and go after the fish that are biting and that is pan fish, crappie and bluegill. Using UL rods make pan fishing a blast. Click on the link below and enjoy like I have been doing the last few weeks. The Rock River and Lake Koshkonong is a great fishery and I’m glad it’s in my back yard. Fall will be an awesome bite for walleyes so stay tune for some great reports and pic’s.

walleye fishing on the Rock River is very tough for me right now, anyone have any tips to catch these lost eyes? Water temps were 75 yesterday.

Sorry, Jeff, no tips to share today except to catch what is biting. White bass for me lately. Did run into one group that fished the area I found you in who had a few crappies in the cooler. Lake water was very clear and in the 75-77 degree temps.
