Since Jeff must be hibernating,or froze into his tree stand and never came down, had to start the February posts. Looking like some more open water weather coming up. Can anyone confirm if the Anchor Inn launch is open or still iced in? Seems like when I call over there, one of the gals answers, and none of them seem to know or want to go check.

well i finally wet a line in some open water and ended up catching 6 12-14 inch walleyes and saugers. felt good to finally catch some fish with the long rods

There was no ice anywhere in Fort this weekend. I was surprised not to see an boats out yesterday when I got back from up north.

FYI to all river-rats. called the Anchor Inn yesterday, and one of the gals was nice enough to go out and check the launch. It’s wide open and good to go.
