    Anyone know if the ice is holding up,thinking about giving it a try tomorrow.

    The ice is fine yet.

    As a note, there is an active spring on the north end of the lake that tends to migrate from year to year. Its usually about 80 to 100 feet off the north shoreline and a couple hundred feet west of the landing beach. It hasn’t shown itself yet, but its always there every year.

    Word has it that they dumped some sumo browns in there in the last week or so. I stopped by just for a walk out to see how things looked and did not fish, but I may take a rod the next time I stop.
