Anyone going to be there? Are there campers there on display?

No buzz about this this year? It is this weekend right?

Over the last few years this has turned into a big ticket show and nothing small and affordable can be found there. The bait shops from around town used to have booths and offer some dandy deals, but that’s a thing of the past. You might find some of the rod builders there with their wares, but don’t expect super savings as the cost of those booths is outrageous.

Its this weekend. There should be campers there. In fact there are suppose to be 75 venders there this year.

    Show hours are:

    Friday Jan 28th – 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm

    Saturday Jan 29th – 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

    Sunday Jan 30th – 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Its a great time to check out the new boats and 4-wheelers at the Smittys Marine area.

    Thanks, Bill

Ma and I went to the stage production at Rochester Civic Theater right next door last night and we aere able to walk right in with no charge so we did a quick look.

The TIP booth had the antlers of the Cannon Falls poached buch and they were something. My impressions of the show in general are still that it lacks enough small businesses that might offer some great deals on tackle or the like. The one booth I looked close at was in the area where we came in on the north and everything was pretty junky and would not have been worth the $5 to look at it. I wouldn’t have bought anything off his tables.

For free admission, it was worth the look.

I did a drop in at Cabelas this afternoon myself. We had a funeral in Northfield and , well, the van sort of took a liking to I35 southbound for a few miles.
