Ice Conditions

    Anybody been out on the ice this week? Any reports on ice conditions would be greatly appreciated. I’d like to try and get out Friday afternoon and don’t really need to swim in the water this early in the season.

    the ice is still 20″+ on most of the mississipppi backwaters……we lost a little bit to the rain, but they were still driving around on it as of sunday

    Yep, Jake is correct! The ice conditions are still pretty good on the backwaters. The fishing has been pretty good too!
